Bad Fish is a 2024 horror drama film about a marine biologist investigating mysterious deadly attacks on fishermen in an Oregon coastal town. He discovers the culprit is a mermaid who must find a mate to breed with before returning to the sea.
The movie was written, directed and co-produced by Brad Douglas (Bent; The Plan; Between the Trees; Besetment). It was also produced by Ray Nomoto Robison and executive produced by Chris LeDoux. A sequel, Bad Fish II has already been announced.
The Barbed Wire Media production stars Jonny Lee, Mark Schneider, Abby Wathen, Marlyn Mason and Kenny Carpenter.
