5 Splurge Products I’ll Never Regret Buying
I know, I know. The word splurge is making me cringe too. We’re going to pretend that it has no other meaning [sorry, I know I just painted a strong visual] and think solely about the products at hand that I’m so glad I *invested* in. Yes, husband, a hair dryer is an investment, stop questioning it.
While I do shop professionally for a living [wild thought when I put it that way], I typically keep the items I hit checkout on at budget-friendly prices, however, every once in a while something will slide across my screen that has the 4 $$$$ signs like I’m looking up fine dining restaurants and I can’t resist. Say hello to my favorite splurges of all time…
I know, I know. She’s expensive. But once you start using this, it will literally and figuratively blow you away. I’ve owned my Dyson hair dryer since 2019 and for the past six years, I’ve never regretted spending the money on it. It has cut my dry time down significantly [my girlfriend just got one and she said it’s saved her 20+ minutes in the morning!] and it leaves my hair very smooth, almost smooth enough where I wouldn’t have to use a hot tool to finish off the look. If you’ve debated this dryer, I give two full thumbs up to it!
Tory Burch Millers [size up .5]
I know, I know. Boring choice. However, they have been a tried and true closet staple for me the last…3? 4? 5 years. They literally go with everything [my preferred color are either tan patent or vintage vachetta leather]. Dress ’em up with a cute sundress for summer, rock ’em with your denim shorts and tee for a baseball game, there is no wrong way to style these. I’ve worn the heck out of mine and I still reach for them regularly in the spring and summer!
We were early on the sauna trend – we’ve had ours for several years now, and I’m still a huge fan of it. Not just for the time of relaxation that it offers, but for the health benefits as well. I swear whenever I feel sickness coming on, I spend a few 30-minute sessions in the sauna and my sickness resolves itself much faster than if I wouldn’t. Not only that but it makes a big difference in my skin health and appearance. Sweating out toxins regularly has to be good for something! I can’t recommend an in-home sauna enough: it is a financial investment, but it’s a bigger investment in your health!
I didn’t intentionally buy this for myself [I actually bought it for my mom for Christmas but she decided she’d rather wear a watch instead] so I kept it! I didn’t know it was going to become my new best friend [I should probably focus on my social life again ;)] but goodness, now I can’t imagine not wearing it. It makes me always feel so aware of my overall health and motivates me to kick things up a notch! I’m telling you, all of Beach Riot’s swimsuits are so stinkin’ cute. A higher price tag? Yes. But do I wear the booty off those things? No, because the quality is good 😉 It’s the belted swimsuit that makes me feel like James Bond meets Baywatch. It’s a super comfy ribbed material and the details of the tie on the shoulder and belt around the waist give it a little somethin’ extra [which is good considering it costs extra *wink*]. I would size up one – I wear in large! Now if only they could make it oversized so I could fit in an XS in it..then I’d really love it. Dreams.
And this now concludes why I’m filing Bankruptcy soon 😉 Sorry husband, at least the suit is cute.
